Possible Dark Matter Found in Andromeda Galaxy

NASA’s Fermi gamma ray telescope recently detected large amounts of gamma rays coming from the center of the Andromeda Galaxy. These gamma rays could signify large amounts of dark matter in the center of the galaxy because interacting pieces of dark matter release gamma rays, or it could be the glow of pulsars (see Pulsars). The Fermi telescope has also detected similar signals in the center of our galaxy, so further information about these rays could reveal mysteries of the milky way.
