Total Solar Eclipse

On Monday, August 21 The United States will have a total solar eclipse. There is only a thin band where the eclipse will be total, but you can still see most of in in all of the US.

The next eclipse visible from the US will be on April 8th, 2024, but there will be eclipses in South America in 2019 and 2020.

While viewing the event, make sure to not look at the sun directly, but use eclipse glasses. Also, make sure to remember to put a filter on your binoculars and telescope.
